    I guess
Nobody is keeping these numbers....but.... Unfortunately, "Driver Factories"....are the ones playing with the Safety of our Interstate highways and roads. Making it worse for everyone else.

So you're ok saying that I'm going to fall asleep at the wheel... But take offense when I mention paper logs. Don't throw rocks in glass houses is the saying yeah?

I've seen Blackvue in a few of the trucking fail/crash compilation YouTube videos so I'll have to look into them. I'll pay more attention to the cam manufacturer when I watch those and play "four wheeler or speeding trucker this time?".

Thanks to the other folks who mentioned being legally forced to surrender my memory cards. I obviously don't intend on getting into at fault accidents or doing a runner so it's not a big deal to me but if I was morally... flexible... I'd keep it in kind. I'll make sure to keep my furry porn and ISIS recruiting material off those SD cards :D

Any bit of inattentiveness that was recorded could be used against you. Why do you think the big cam companies only record short clips? The majority of consumer cams record all your driving activities.

I still have a Cobra model I purchased from Groupon at one point for under $50, and it was totally worth it. It records in 1080p (full HD), had a surprisingly wide lens (covered from almost mirror to mirror on the front of a Crown Vic), came with an 8GB SD card, and had a loop mode. It even saved my ### one time when I had to file a report on some psycho who almost backed into me when dropping someone off, then minutes later tried to hit me head on as I pulled out of the parking lot.
I'd buy another in a heartbeat, and I'll definitely be using it in the truck until I can afford an even better system or more than one.
