Yes, THAT lever. That retracts the dowels. Like @johndeere4020 and others have said, drop the trailer, take pressure off the dowels, then step on the lever to retract the pins, then you back back under the trailer lifting the neck.

See this lever, you need to roll this back. It pulls the dowels in. Sometimes they are very stiff. Stand on that lever or get something for leverage to move it. You will not get the neck off if these are not retracted 20180124_102307.jpg

Ok they retracted!!!!!!! Now pin is pulled and I'm ready to drive out from under it.....do I reinflate my suspension BEFORE I start to drive out from under it? The 4x4 is in place behind 5th wheel

Only question is do I go ahead and unhook my airlines from the neck to the deck( I know if I dont they're gonna rip...but, do I at least start to pull forward a lil bit. Cause taking the air off will cause the pin to re-engage

So you have the neck kingpin locked back into the fifthwheel and the 4x4 is between the top of your frame and the neck, right?

Unhook them. The lock cylinder gets it's air from the red air line on your tractor

Air your bags up and pull away if your neck pin is unlocked.
