Let me be clear yes I know we did get a raise when break numbers down. It just wasnt the .05cpm they made it out to be, and in reality the guys that made out the best with that raise are the new or inexperienced guys. Ive got 2.5 yrs exp and when i grab a student hes only making .01cpm less than me when I'm solo, and thats kinda crazy if you ask me. Yes I get a bonus cpm when i have a student but our base pays are only .01cpm different
Shock Therapy and FalconsFan21 Thank this. -
No I'm very happy here. Its a great company and I'd recommend them to anyone. But with any company there are things that annoy me. But not enough to make me leaveShock Therapy, Steelersjunkie and FalconsFan21 Thank this.

Mileage bonus if on per diem and quarterly and yrly safety bonus at .01cpm for every mile driven
Shock Therapy and FalconsFan21 Thank this. -
I’ve got 10 years experience so you would recommend the move then?
-
I would. People like to say its a "training company" but I dont feel that way. Miles, nice equipment, 70mph, and left alone to do your job. If you're unhappy at your current job then you can do alot worse than Millis
Vic Firth, JOHNQPUBLIC, FalconsFan21 and 1 other person Thank this. -
You don’t find other companies paying what Millis does unless the benefits are bad. There is no raise schedule where I’m at now. But we do have a mileage bonus and fuel bonus which is kind of hard to get. Gotta be at 7 mpg or higher. The newer trucks get better fuel economy and right now I don’t really have a truck I’ve been floating around. And it sucks. We have directv on the trucks but every truck I get into has the satellite knocked off the truck. That’s real annoying.FalconsFan21 and Shock Therapy Thank this.

As @keen98 stated, no place is perfect, but overall got no complaints as of yet. Do your research and I would also recommend calling and asking everything you ask here plus anything else you can think of to verify details. I had a list of questions 4 pages long when i talked to recruiting, it took a few hours to cover them all, and never once was I made to feel like I was bothering anyone there.
The equipment is good, and maintained well. You need something done and shop will take care of it. You have a breakdown on the side of the road and a service truck shows up.
After I proved that I was able to be on time or at least communicate in advance if problems arose that would keep me from being on time and I wasn't going to destroy 200K worth of equipment on a daily basis I didn't hear a lot from anybody. If I have questions about something or need info on anything dispatch (at least mine) is always Johnny on the spot for getting back to me with what I need. For the most part it's a perfect set up, part of what I was looking for was a place where someone would let me know where to go and when I needed to be there and then leave me the F alone and let me do my job.
Trucks have TV and satellite (don't know what package /channels it is, I don't use mine) and I think the new(er?) trucks have satellite radio also, but not positive. Also have a frig.
As far as Bennys go you definitely have to call and talk to recruiting about that as everyone has different needs and a different definition of what "good" is.Last edited: Jan 26, 2018

I assume you have prepass and a toll transponder in the truck as well?
