He obviously doesn't work in the state of Indiana.
Of all the states we run, we get more than half of our tickets from this state alone. Many of our drivers have received tickets for 66 in a 65. I kid you not.
Should I reopen my case ???

Easy to assume. Usual scenario is im a good cop and going to ‘cut you a break’and tell some bs story on how it will all be ok. So youll just pay the ticket and cop gets a tally on the unofficial quota requirement.

To the OP. Be leary on what service you use. My company brought in some reps for legal shield and i paid into it for a year. My return is some lawyer who has 30+ years exp and reccomends i just pay the ticket and acts like theres no good defense since the judge sides with the officer. (Basically doesnt want to do anything)
Also the attorney they got me was 3 hrs away but travels all over the state. So you may not get someone local. I would imagine this would depend on the area though.YoungBloodTrucker Thanks this. -
My experience is that the less you pay a lawyer out of your own pocket, the more disdain they have for you and lazier they are. Not every, but 50% of time

This would explain why whenever I'm on 64 through Va Beach to Williamsburg, I never see the State boys go after anyone unless they are being really stupid. Cops here on my sandbar used to love nailing people for going a mile over. They would use it to try an search cars, an the like for drugs, etc.
Used to be a joke if you saw a cop with someone pulled over, it wouldn't be long before K9 an 4 other cops would show up. Thankfully most that did this retired, got fired or transferred. The newer an younger ones tend to do as the quote above. They will cut you a little slack but if your being stupid your getting a ticket or going to jail. LOL.
Small towns, an their police. Gotta love'm.

25 over that's not very good.
The service did nothing for you at 5 over and that was a wasted victory. Im hunting a word but cannot remember it. It's no victory when in the end you own a burnt battlefield that cannot be kept.
The 25 over is fixing to put you out of the industry for a while as in years if you don't get it changed to something else.
What will it take to get you to slow down? -
reopening the 5 mile over case, even if won, would be a pyrrhic victory.

How do you propose to re-open a case that has been adjudicated? You don't get to lose a case, or plead guilty to a lesser offense, and then re-open it normally.06driver Thanks this.

I am an attorney. We have an old saying that the client that pays the least, #####es the most.
