1001 or more lbs requires a placard. 119 gallons or more of liquid capacity it will require both ID placards and a tank endorsement.

Even if that tote is empty you need to placard with the UN number and all , because it s a 'bulk' container.

Tank endorsement if there's enough totes to add up to 1000 gallon capacity.

No, I don’t want to haul hazmat. I just drive tankers for the time being. I want to get into cranes and heavy haul or dirt work.

I see what you’re saying but I’m not getting a hazmat to haul two totes of methonal a mile down the road twice a year. My co worker can do that. He’s got a hazmat and not that busy lol.

I’m not going to haul fuel or chemicals any time soon when I make more to pull def tankers and not deal with hazmat.

I purchased it beginning of December.... Dreaded bobtailing to Houston to get it. Just finally picked it up last week. I still have a 2016 53flat I picked up back in 2015. Im not sure what I want to do with it. I have/had an agent that keeps me loaded with it fairly often and paid great. Just needed more of a challenge. Ill be in your neck of the woods Mon/Tues/Wed.

By the way... I did end up just covering up the placards. And thankfully I had the presence of mind when I picked it up to ask for that certification because the port wouldn't have accepted the truck without it.
