The sling, fling, and sometimes the hook method gives consistent results. But the "shot put" and hurl styles need to be avoided.

I try to use the sling-fling method when freights high. I do more overhead basketball pass when things aren’t that high and it seems to work for me. I’ve noticed the older I get (I’m currently 46) my throwing arm doesn’t work the way it used to. Heck playing catch with the boy does me good have to grab that stinking Advil.

 

Loaded out this morning with another set of oil water separator tanks bound for brighten Colorado again. This time ill be yanking my flags and banners prior to this way I don't have to worry about stopping at the scale of I get the bypass. 14ft 3in tall again

Here at Johnson's corner petro in Johnstown Colorado, I pull in and immediately see this. Here is a perfect example of how NOT to secure a load of lumber. Only 4 4 inch winches, so he's only using 4 4 inch straps, the rest is 2 inch straps. Normally that wouldn't be an issue if it's secured correctly, but this guy didn't use a single belly strap. He actually considered running through Denver on his way to Texas like this. I advised him against it as the tickets he could be facing will be outrageous, not to mention the oos he's gonna get

1st Load with new truck. Went to wixom Michigan. I actually delivered during a winter storm warning. The drop yard was a sheet of ice. My buttocks still hurts.

 

What the heck is going on at the back of that trailer? Did the load shift?

Oh I see the problem.... it says "Stone hauler" right on the side of the truck?
