60 day is pretty much a mini inspection. They grease all the joints underneath, Brake lining and tire depth measurements, and check lights. Just to get an in depth look to see if there are any issues that may have been missed during a pretrip so they can be repaired before a DOT inspection or equipment failure.

FSV is probably a full service or an annual inspection.

Now that I see you work for Werner those are exactly what it is. Any TA or Petro can do a 60D service. Depending on the time of day it normally only takes about 30-45 minutes.

Why haven't you called your driver manager to inquire about it?
Is that just too easy and sensible?

Maybe his DM is like mine and won’t answer her phone.

Time to get a better DM.

I read about all the bad DM's out there, but I have not experienced the problem.
My first DM was good, and then after 6 months I was transferred over to the Otay Mesa terminal with a new DM.
    He was just as good.
Then it went to a pod, but all of them have been good. They all let me pretty much do as I please.

Maybe that is why I stick with them, even though I now live 20 miles away from Inver Grove in MN. Never know what I might get stuck with if I switch over. They might not be so understanding of my general laziness.

My DM leaves me alone. Seriously. So I like her 99% of the time because I don’t need to be reminded of every little thing. But if I have a quick question, good luck!
