Pull the battery from the phone?
Why not simply turn it off?

So much drama with all of this.

If your heater does not work and you can not idle the truck - put yourself out of service until the problems can be resolved. Pre and post trip inspections can be used for that. All you have to say is that the truck is not safe.
Get a motel room in the meantime.

If the company wishes to deliver the load, or get that truck moving again, they will arrange for the problem to be fixed.

Added ONE word you needed in there.
Also, OP, what is the name of this bottom dwelling company? They need to be broadcast far and wide as bottom dwellers.

They used to sell a “broomstick” at truck stops for throttle control. Was a 2’ rod that hooked under dash and could be adjusted to hold pedal. A stick will also work

When you are fighting a computer configured by company to shut down anyway after a fixed timer runs out on the code etc. You need a laptop attached to that trucks computer in real time to alter the revelant software switches and disabling those timers etc within the computer's memory and programming to make that truck idle properly.

The very act of doing what I just suggested in the previous paragraph can be construed as malicious and will have a firing with predjudice against the driver that tried it. And that will mask the real root cause of the problem.

It will break my heart to see that drivers should die in frozen trucks for the sake of company imposed shutdowns by computer coding to save a few dollars.

This guy has been complaining about the same company for weeks over various issues. He is just baiting everyone in to his drama. At the very least he shows a complete lack of ability to take care of himself. I will leave the sympathy up to you guys while he lays back and plays video games.
If I was close to freezing to death I would take matters into my own hands and talk about it later. Lol.

    I hear you.

I hope that for his sake that he is not trolling us all, especially if he did have a history as you claim in a period of weeks in complaining. Complaining is one thing. But after tonight if he is still dealing with a frozen truck and did not get a hotel room etc among other things which people here have tried to help him.. then there is no helping him. Maybe the sun might come up and no one will ever be able to help him then.

You can only do so much. After that I stay quiet and commend whatever the current issue is into the hands of God. And hope it will resolve itself well enough. Or it will resolve that person's life and he will wake up dead because he did not go to the hotel room tonight.

In the past Ive talked about.. times where it was tough and necessary to freeze a little bit or even burn. ive done both. But in today's luxury trucks in the dead of winter with no heat? it's a insult to all drivers.

It happens to be one of my buttons. I cannot stand to see a human or a pet burn or freeze when there are a thousand hotel rooms or houses around the area to get warm or cooled off in.

When I was a new guy, I had my bunk heat fail but I brought about three blankets with me so even in the freezing cold I kept warm. Now I would just call to stay in a hotel while the truck is fixed. When I was new I tried to avoid annoying my manager with problems but now I have so much seniority that they cater to me and apologize if I am not totally happy.

Lays back and plays video games? I wouldnt open my mouth in public if I were you. Im out here to work. Took me a while to find another option, im broke atm because of school. Im doing what I can by sticking it out until better happens. But some of the Schneider reputation i used to honestly think was a bunch of things crybabies made up to justify not being able to stick it out. I took 2 years off, its not easy to job hop atm.
