pay lagging behind?

When i occasionally ran team mid '80's we split .52 and got $24 per day tax free meal allowance. No doubt Schneider is just a place to work while looking for a job.

 

Pay for company drivers only goes up when said company is unable to attract drivers at its current pay scale.

As long as drivers run for .41 cpm they will pay .41 cpm.

 

Minimum wage DOESN'T need to go up at all

 

When minimum wage goes up people earning the minimum wage lose their jobs.

Unions demand a raise, causing a spike in inflation.

Demand for goods and services declines due to higher prices.

People in factories and services industries lose jobs.

Homes are foreclosed, causing housing values to drop.

Demand for new homes declines.

Construction workers start losing jobs.

But who gets hurt the most?
