Just saw a driver in a Pete sitting so low his eyes were barely over the sill of the window. He couldn't have been able to see over the dash.
This is not safe nor does it look cool.
What's with these guys?

This still remains one of the few things that science has not been able to explain. A question for the ages.

I tried driving like that. I thought maybe all those lowriders knew something I didn't know.
Hey, I'm old but I can learn, right?
I couldn't adjust the mirrors far enough to see anything but I figured if they could do it I could too.
My experiment lasted all of a morning. I ran over two curbs, a mailbox, almost sideswiped a road sweeper, and parked so far away from the fuel island that the attendant offered me road service.
No more of that. -
Now that's funny

just curious where you in the same truck type?

Just bought some Legacy Silver seats for my Pete 359. I added 1.5" to the base to get up in this world. I am no truck driver but want to see the best I can.
-
I am just the opposite. I look at guys who have their seats hiked up so tall they look like they are on an infant high stool and leaning over the steering wheel. In my mind that cant be comfortable. Bouncing up and down like a 25 cent kiddie ride. And I usually associate them with rookies,..because its mostly the Mega's I see driving like that.
I bought a Bostrom Low Rider seat for my truck. The seat WILL NOT hike up taller than your normal lowest setting. I recline it back a little bit. Inflate the different back supports to my comfort and then I drop the seat pretty much to maybe 8 - 10 inches off the floor. This is the most comfortable long distance position for me. I'm a taller guy,..so I can see my mirrors and over the dash just fine. No my shifter isnt up near the roof. I never saw the sense in that. But having my seat set up like a barcalounger? Yes sir,.. with heat and massage to boot!
You do yours,.. I'll do mine.

Perhaps the old man got his young son to drive
