Good lord, what planet have you been on driver? You just saw this today for the first time? I had a Bostrom wide glide lo pro 17 years ago. I pulled up to a guard shack one day and the guard told me he didn't think anyone was driving the truck. He couldn't see me till I was right there.
Never ran over anything, or had any problems backing into spots.
Now me, I can't figure out how those guys are able to drive that are sitting so high in the truck that there head is above the windshield. Looks ridiculous looking in through the front windshield and seeing an entire driver sitting there.

To be fair, seat bags and/or seat supply air hoses have been known to fail and when that happens, you may as well be sitting on a milk crate.

Some guys can't drive unless they can see the end of the hood. They have no spacial awareness.

If you ever pay attention,.. these are the same guys who still struggle backing into a spot. The concept of setting up the trailer properly still alludes them.

    they actually have a seat?
thought they had to sit on the bunk, because they sit back so far you can't see them.

I don't sit as low as you, but I do sit somewhat low.

When I get into heavy traffic I raise that seat right up, cars can get from beside me to right in front of my hood without me ever seeing them through the windows if I'm too low.

I sit low because I am very short and cannot stand the seat bouncing me all over the place when I use the air in it! Never had a problem with it: 15 years and counting
