When I bought that conestoga from down maryland way 3/4 years ago, it had been setting a few months.
I checked it over a while before I went to get it. Went n hooked it, grabbed a load n took it home. Did a thorough walk around upon getting to my yard. Found a nest with 3 little light blue eggs in it on top of the frame rail.
I felt real ####ty about that for quite a while. I had looked it over real close those weeks before when I went in my pickup. In the meantime poor bird built a nest n started a family.

Wonderful. My poor truck is disgraceful after running through those bad storms, I have chunks of ice under it that are huge.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
We take it very personal when our efforts fall short and we can't save someone's life, property or possessions.

I sure do appreciate all you fellas do. Have a couple friends up by the city that were on for a few years. I know most the fellas around here and will show up when I can incase they need a hand with anything.

It's awful hard to save a hundred year old house.....there ain't no green wood in them houses. Most are built like mine with no fire blocks from the foundation to the roof.

The main thing is you all be safe... And go home to your family's.....
