Anyone currently with LS tell me what your averaging per mile? Before deductions? Including dead head? I don't see any recent posts, since 2016.

I would suggest Thunder Grafix in Joplin, MO! They did my Landstar lettering for me!

i am going through the process of being leased onto landstar in their straight truck division. I am trying to determine if i make more money hauling multiple campers or with landstar. The best i was doing after fuel and all deadhead miles was $1.34 in my pocket take home per mile. Do you think that LandStar would pay more than this (after all dedications)? I'm at a crossroads to build another camper hauling truck out of my straigh truck or lease to landstar. Either way i need to make a decision in the next 3 days. Any input would be great! So far trying to lease onto LS has been a absolute nightmare , as I dont feel like a o/o more like a company employee with the amount of hoops they have had me jump through (compared to hauling rv campers)

It’s worth the hassle.

My one year anniversary with Landstar is coming up March 5. Its been a great year with good freight. Ups and downs with the truck but profited overall. Driving a 2009 Kenworth T600 with a C15 Acert and 3:36 rears getting 6.5 mpg and freight at $2-3 per mile.

You have my truck mine is a retired trans am with 1.1 million and 650 hp thanks to pdi but I am not allowed to talk about why
-
Why it was retired or why it gets 650 hp due to a pdi?

I tell ya I been reading some of these problems getting on with Landstar....I cant lie it HASNT CHANGED. I been trying to get on since early Feb or Late Jan........These processors cant seem to either get the info they need or just plan dont care if they do... I spent the last 2 weeks getting all the info she needed because of the previous statement...Got a email couple hours ago she will be in touch by tomorrow to go over the drug test instructions.......I dont even know where they go to do the drug tests....Was told it was like 18 bucks for the collection but they pay for the actual test? Anyhow I keep reading and keep getting told its worth the wait....It best be LOL

All the instructions will be sent to you by email. You just register with the lab and send them your zip code and you will have a time limit to get it done. It is easy.
Soso21 Thanks this. -
It doesnt matter I could pass a drug test in my sleep but I was told they do Hair and Urine does anyone know...I like to know in advance what is gonna take place lol.............and another question I assume (I know I know thats never good) that if they send me for the drug test I have passed all requirements and that I am signed on with Landstar as long as I pass the drug screen of course.Last edited: Apr 2, 2018
