I know this has been a subject on this forum before but if you need further proof of the necessity of having a cb radio just take time to view drone footage of multi-vehicle pileup on I-44 in Missouri, see alot of semi trucks involved, just wonder if some of them could of been alerted to impending danger.

MudduckDx, rabbiporkchop and MACK E-6 Thank this.

Qualifies as Distracted driving if driver even looks at his phone, possible $2750.00 fine and up to $10,000 fine to company and most likely termination and not a chance in #### of getting hired by a good company, so I guess I dont see how an app would be of any value.

Apparently it does to those who choose to pontificate to those of us who run a radio about how we live in the past.

I run at least 2 radios always, a Galaxy 95T frequently on ham bands, and a Yeasu dual bander. Sometimes if Im headed out of the LA area I'll toss in my HF rig too.

I always have it on but I rarely talk on mine. I would just sound like baffoon so I don’t try to be cool or a radio Rambo..But the moment I see or sense something going on, my music gets shut off and the CB volume goes to max.
