Amazon Starts Own Delivery Service

    It was only a matter of time, that this would happen. First came thousands of Amazon trailers, pulled by others.

    Now it’s an actual delivery service. Amazon believes that they can do it cheaper themselves. If you look at their record, they seem to do things right, more often than failures.

    Probably will run as 1099, with delivery by contractors (kids looking for part time work) using thier own personal vehicles, like Uber. Being rolled out slowly in certain locations.

    Article mentions that FedEx and UPS took a hard hit on the stock market too, although in my area the Postal Service delivers most orders to the final destination.
