I was older metal black body with keys on Mic, and maybe face, or both. -

Those units work off shortwave if I recall correctly you also had to be licensed for the particular bands you were broadcasting or might have been a subscription service from motarola. they also only communicate with another motarola device.

I hate to burst the bubble but the taxis out here like yellow cab used Motrac's, Micor, even some t-powers, but they were on vhf channels not CB.
