Word at the shop here in Trenton is that Millis is done with them too and that all new tractors will not have them. I don't think they know yet what's going to happen to the tractors and trailers that have them already.

With rumors here, I have a screening process. I take about 10% of what I hear, and I believe about 10% of that.dhellmer, Waterboy334, JOHNQPUBLIC and 1 other person Thank this.

@Goobr54 That could have gone South real fast, glad it didn't. If it happened to me I'd also be taking time in the meeting to explain that I needed a new drivers seat since the involuntary pucker responce tore a big section of the original seat out.
FalconsFan21 and Steelersjunkie Thank this. -
Fair enough sir, I believe that works better

Any of you here at the TA in Montgomery town NY?
Another Millis truck next door to me..truckermkh Thanks this. -
I grew up in that area. Right down the road in newburgh/Wallkill ny. Moved down to NC about a year ago. I’m sure my family and friends would be happy if I got to spend a night at that truck stop and have dinner with them
Edit: I know Millis goes to western ny a lot but how often are you guys on the Eastern side? Would be cool if I got to take home time over there and visit my family/friends once I go solo.Last edited: Feb 11, 2018

My husband feels the same way, it's dangerous. Even if your going slow, it will do it at any speed. Can't really get out every mile and clean it off.Steelersjunkie Thanks this.

Wassup Truckerland, and hello from Mt Vernon Missouri. Welcome to my post where I give zero ##**s. This has been a ridiculous series of days and I have snapped. I SHOULD be about an hour away from my final. Yesterday broke my hours, today broke my will to care. I'm 8 hours away from Fort Worth. When I drop this trailer, I'm done for the day. If they have me pick up a load at the brewery or at the terminal that's cool but I'm parking after that. I'm out of my ability to give a crap. Between weather and trailer issues, I'm already wanting to go back home. I haven't even been out a week yet. Tonight I'm having a few beers and sleeping in. I am fully aware that this situation has nothing to do with Millis but I'm broken and ready for spring. F this weather man, and F these super singles. If the previous post was correct and they are moving away from them, good on Millis. It's nothing but a headache and it's costing me money. Pardon the venom, but I just don't care tonight. Two roadside stops in two consecutive days will do that to you. I'd say that it can't get worse, but then I'm dooming myself to a worse day tomorrow. I don't want any part of that. At this point I'm just hoping the sun rises. That would make me happy. Hope y'all are doing well. Stay safe and warm, and let's hope for an early Spring. Keep the rubber side down and check your pins. Peace guys. Have a good night.
Airmech, Vic Firth and Aamcotrans Thank this.
