Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak, makes everything else seem like a root canal without Novicaine.

You've been busting your ### to get to where you want to be for close to what, 2 years now? The closer it gets, the harder it is to deal with everything between you and it. It drains you fast, both mentally and physically.... You just want it to be over and on to the prize, the next step.

So yeah, I would agree with your better half in the grand scheme of things. But still, sounds like this sums up your last couple days

 

Off the top of my head I can only place it from Event Horizon, but i don't remember thinking that movie was really twisted.

I will have to give it deeper thought in the morning.

 

If those are your favorite dreams I'll send you mind, lord knows I don't want 'em. Spent last night dreaming about work and guilt over not being out when I had the ability to be. All sorts of bad #### was happening in them. Taking care of relatives took center stage when the opportunity arose but still feel guilty about it I guess

I will have to watch it again. Has to be a good 10 years since I saw it last and you know time dulls the memory of things sometimes
