Speaking of drinking Kool-aid ,next time you pour a glass take a gander at one of the original powers under the Constitution. The one about regulating interstate commerce.

The difference between Privilege and Right is not semantics.
Lets start with the State. A State can remove your priviledge to drive for a number of reasons. A State could also remove everyones privilege to drive in that State. Now there is one Right that would actually cover driving. You have the Right to equal treatment under the law. The State can't say only whites can drive, or all catholics are prohibited from driving.
Reading that I get the feeling you're a conspiracy nut.
Your government professor didnt tell you where that comes from?? Its actually half a quote from the First Lord Acton in a letter to a Bishop in 1887....
"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men. -
I don't know. When I first started driving in the early '80s I didn't keep one (good thing too as 36-hour work shifts followed by eight-hour drives wasn't unusual
), but that was also oilfield so I don't know if there was an exemption. When I came back in the early '90s hauling fuel I had to use one.
Native Dancer Thanks this. -

So there is no REAL "WAR ON DRUGS"? I'm not positive on this but I'm pretty sure that it was declared. And by the way the United States Government reserves the right to do ANYTHING THEY WANT. Just like in the unlikely event that all truckers would go on strike. Dont you think the United States Government would call up the national guard and FORCE us to drive on their precious hwys. Absolutely they would. For the good of the MASSES. Truth is, those ol farts up there in the Senate decide what our Rights are and they are becoming fewer and fewer.2fuzy Thanks this.

Umm ... step away from the bong.

Umm... are you assumeing that I might be consuming illegal drugs? Just because I bring up the "Failing War On Drugs" does not mean that I break the law. My job requires that I ubstain from such subsances and also that I prove it by producing fresh urin for their examination. Please do not accuse me of such things. Thank You and .............Peace.

Yeah, yeah ... you and everyone else on here. (look up: "metaphor").

You're clearly hallucinating if you think the national guard is going to force you to drive.
But hey, don't listen to me, just keep listening to the voices in your head.
