Madison would do that crap then not give a break on anything. I bew an ac compreesor. took it in, picked it up and made it three hours down the road. Put it in another shop and the guy pulled handfulls of shavings out of the system, they never cleaned it after fragmenting the compressor.

I took it in to have something done in the dash, can't remember what. hvac door or something. anyways, got it back and the blow fan sounded like it was hammering it;s way out of the dash. Madison says yup, your fan is bent. wasn't liek that before I took it in but not only wouldn't give us a break on the bill but they charged us to fix thy fan they broke. I told the boss not to pay it but he did.

had that truck in 20 times trying to track down a wiring issue. cheak engine and shutdown lights came on ALL the time. never could find it. Took it to freightliner one time.... for something unrelated and they called us and told us they found a spot in the wiring harness that was worn bare :biggrin_2554:

####, well there you have it. Sorry to hear that, that liner must be scored bad or the rings are completley shot if its doing that.

I had the same deal at madison , air comp. went out on my 3408 , 1st shift took off , 2nd shift put the new one on, made it down the road 50 miles lost oil pres., call peterbilt they said oil pres. has nothing to do with a air comp, So I had the truck tow back to pete , Well they found someone left a shop rag in the motor, they did call the cops on me that night

Hope that wasent recent, them 3408 air compressors are like gold today! But yeah they would be calling the cops on me too if that happened, incompetent mofos! When i see this kinda work at dealerships its no wonder why these trucks dont last these days.

yup, that's why old Kansas dad is always beyotchin when he sees a pic of an air clear removed and the intake pipe open. says someone always ends up setting a shop rag in there and forgetting it. I can see it happening
