Public Citizen president steps down

I'm glad she is stepping down, but Public Citizen will continue to use the court system against business and industry in our country. She came close to decimating the productivity and service capabilities of the trucking industry with emotional hype in the face of facts and statistics.

Public Citizen is part of the Ralph Nader "public interest" lobbying empire, which an article in Fortune Magazine back 1990 estimated to be a $120 million per year operation.

 

I'm glad she is stepping down. I don't know if it will change the way PC will do business, as she is staying around to help find her replacement... I would think they would still ignore the facts and continue with the emotional angle as usual.

Her resigning when Obama is making political appointments makes me nervous . Surely she is not just making herself available for a DOT position .
