Not sure if this has been done before on this forum. Let's see if we can post the good and bad CB Radio shops around the states for the locals and distant drivers looking for a CB Radio to purchase from. Let's keep this friendly and no hasslements from nobody.
My CB Radio shops experience that I recommend are:
Fine Tune CB Shop - Las Cruces, New Mexico
Bells CB - Fort Lauderdale, Florida
The bad experience CB Shops:
Ladd Electronics - Jackson, Georgia

There’s a lengthy thread called
“CB shops white list”
You can find it on page 3 of the cb topics. Seems like there were some bad shops posted on that thread too. Every once in awhile someone adds something new to the thread.rabbiporkchop and 715 Thank this. -
sorry, i repair no cb's. i buy them, use them for many, many years, when they break, i buy another.
i never will trust a cb shop. i have personally seen where they fold up, lock up all the cbs and no one can get them for weeks. either that, or they want you to leave it, again, BS, leads to what i said above.715 Thanks this. -
Thank you for that information..I found the topic..I just didn't want to bring back that topic back up and get in trouble with the mods and admins.

Good honest reply. It's hard to find a trust worthy CB Radio repair place now days who are honest and know how to fix radios and etc.buddyd157 Thanks this.

Okay, I’m not sure why you would get into trouble with the moderators. I’ve seen folks reply to threads that are a year old or more. When they replied they probably didn’t pay attention to the date of the last post. Not a big deal though.d o g Thanks this. -
Just some moderators and administrator staff have a strict policy about forum member bringing up an old thread from the past. I guess it all depends on the moderator and administrator.

It's easy to find guys that can fix radios.
Tuning is another ball game though -
I agree!

Most of the truckstop tech's do not even own the correct test equipment, let alone know how to set up a bench. Your test equipment has to be calibrated, and your bench needs to have balanced loads for rf and audio, if the bench is off all the tuning past that is going to be garbage.
Ougigoug and rabbiporkchop Thank this.
