It's a conspiracy by Big Conspirators to sell tin foil hats...
buzzarddriver and Blackshack46 Thank this. -
Your doing this incorrectly, everything you eat before they ring you up is free. Says so somewhere I'm sure

When I first started driving you could get a lil dutch oven kinda thingy at truck stops,it was about the size of a meatloaf pan,are these still available ??

for me, i run nightly and am home every morning. regarding rations, i do take along 3 to 4 bottles of fresh water, peanut butter crackers, or breakfast snacks, or granola bars. all that i do take, fit nice and neatly in my "gym bag" carry on, along with a quick change of socks, and a pair of jeans.
when i ran the road, of course i had more, but not so much any much different. i only wanted "quick" or just sustainable foods. then too, having a fridge in trucks back then, was never heard of. -
All sorts of canned goods and a few gallons of water in the truck at all times. Way better than MREs IMO.

LOL Yes they do. I got one when I first got back on the road,. thinking I was going to be eating good. Takes over 45 mins to an hour to heat up a can of ravioli or beef stew.
I'd fall a sleep before my dinner was was even warm.
