Well you may not feel that way when Linde fires you for not watching your mirrors enough or picking your nose wrong. I hated all their micromanaging
Good luck to you.

I started this thread last yr. I was hired and have been there for almost a yr. Here's an update on pros and cons..
Pros:
Well Paid
Good Benefits
Easy work
Clean
Home almost everyday I say 90% of time
Plant I work no managers just drivers at location
Cons:
Camera
Camera
Camera
micromanaging the drivecam
Not being at a main terminal but a satellite location, maintenance on equipment suffers b/c their is no mechanic to service trucks and it may take days or weeks to cycle truck back down.. But thats not at all locations.
That being said if not for the cameras this would be an ideal place to work. For me right now the benefits outweigh the negatives but I can definitely see where drivers can grow tired of this company... As far as pay goes NY and NJ drivers make around $28 hr. .58 a mile. I'm sure California is the same way. I made over 40k my first six months with the company and that includes the 5 weeks I was training and a month or so just getting used to the job and the various locations. Also I'm at a lower paying locale and that's just working normal regular work weeks. 100k is doable in some locations with out driving team hauling hydrogen.Last edited: Feb 16, 2018

No changes yet except the drivers now required to wear personal air monitors .
Probably not related though.

No bonuses but they have put banners on the highway and exit by our plant advertising that
" our drivers average 90K per year" which we weren't too happy with but it's not up to us how they fill posistions.
Someone hung a sheet up in a fill zone showing Linde offering 9K sign on bonus though. -
I guess it depends on where they are hiring. Some are 3k others are 5k. Then a few at 7.5k, but I haven't heard or seen a 9k sign on bonus. But depending on the location the yearly pay along with the bonus might be the same as prax pay out for the first year.
