Not sure as of now what my first truck will be, but I'm aiming for brand new. I'll take a bath on cost and interest but it's my first truck so I'm expecting it. If I make a little more than I am now, that's fine. Even if I match my current income, I'm fine with that. At least at first. I'm not trying to be a millionaire. I just want freedom. My loads, my choices, no dispatch, no hassles. I have a very realistic view of what this will be. It isn't a road paved in gold. But, it WILL be a road paved in freedom. Money isn't everything.

By the way, Mr David Millis, my number is in your system. I would be happy, and I mean MORE THAN HAPPY, to buy a truck from your Kenworth dealership. Holler at me if you'd like to get my money. It would be my honor and pleasure to buy a truck from you.
386lover, Waterboy334, Vic Firth and 1 other person Thank this. -
I'm plenty pretty thank you very much

Read this last night and was sorta taken back. I don't do Kidd Gloves so here's my take FWIW.
Yeah, we knew you had a vision and that's cool, applauded if I may. Your delivery sux man.
You talked up Millis and still do but in the above post, it sounds like you don't want anything to do with us anymore. You Made great posts/ threads in helping new to be drivers getting started but now it seems you're cacaing things. No? What, with your admitted not answering questions anymore?
I'm 57 years old and have seen most all things but you surprised me with this post Tim.
Find 'em, finger 'em, #### 'em and forget 'em.
Tell me if I'm wrong.superjackson08 Thanks this. -
Dude, you need to jump down off me. Yes, I'll answer questions about Millis and new driver stuff. No, I won't answer questions about where I'm going after that. It isn't anyone's business and who do you think you are calling me out for that?
-
You couldn't possibly be more wrong. During my time here, I've so far had 10 or more people tell me they came here because of me. Messages here, phone calls, text messages, etc. I have people call me every single day looking for advice or help. I've got 20 people in my contact list on my phone that I talk to regularly and will have as lifelong friends as a result of what I've done here. You wanna call me out? That's cool man, whatever. That's a reflection on YOU, not me. I am still doing what I said I'd always do, and that's promote Millis. If you're salty that I don't want to post my next moves, sorry Slick. I don't owe that to anyone. It isn't anyone's business.386lover and Waterboy334 Thank this.

It isn't often that I can't walk away from something or someone. I have a switch I can flick and just be done. But apparently I'm not done with you @Goobr54 So you think I owe everyone here the knowledge of where I'm going? Ok, how's about if I do that, and then also give away the brokers I'll be working with, and the freight lines I'll be running? Would that somehow make me look like a good guy again in your eyes? You might as well be asking for the keys to the White House or Fort Knox. I'm not sure why you are pissed, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that I will do none of those things. If you wanna do what I'm doing, then roll up your sleeves and pack a big lunch. You have a lot of work and research ahead of you. And you're right, I am absolutely NOT going to help anyone with that. I'd be taking money out of my own pocket. What a selfish jerk I am, right? Good luck finding a respectable O/O that would.

Are you going o/o with Millis?
Steelersjunkie Thanks this. -
I wish I could brother, I really do. I inquired about it 3 times, never got a response. I'd love to throw a Millis sticker on the side of my truck. I'd even live with the fact that I'd still have a dispatcher. And I'd be willing to work for less than what I'll be making on my own. But they don't offer O/O positions there.

It's what we do as humans, we don't understand something, we ask. I asked, you explained. I suppose I read it wrong.
