They are and normally marked on the housing. The oil should enter the port to the outer side of the media and exit out the center.

One of the earliest photos of me walking was taken in front of a mid-to-late 80's heavy spec Western Star daycab. There was always a truck in the yard from the earliest day I can remember up until I turned 20.

Home remodel revision #237.2. We went from a 3 bedroom (2 of them small), 1 bath with a closet for the laundry room to a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath with a utility room this week. We took the wall out between the 2 smaller bedrooms (9' x 14' & 7' x 14') and set up the laundry/utility room on one side and the 2nd bedroom will occupy the rest of the space. At some point we will probably put a wall back in, but we're going to try the utility room out and see how much space we really need in there.
My wife sent me some pictures so I can start my photobucket portfolio hopefully this week. If somebody has a better site than photobucket, I'm interested in trying it out.

I didn't come from a long line of Truckers like @wore out but my Dad did pull New Trailers out of the Local Trailmobile Plant for awhile during my High School Years til his Back couldn't take it anymore img_1124_12.jpg

His Truck somewhat resembled this, all Red with a Screaming 238 and a 10 Speed....maybe I got the Trucking Bug from him???

After graduating HS I took a job at a Neighbors Lumber Distribution Plant which usually entailed operating a Forklift and Fingerprinting Rail Cars loaded Wall to Wall with 2×4's and 2×3's....there's a bunch of Sticks in a Rail Car when Ur doing it Urself!! Sometimes if I lucked out, the Cars would hit on Friday and the Bosses Son would help on Saturday

The best part of the Job was that one Older Fellow only worked M-T so if the 6 Wheel Flat needed to make a Delivery on Friday that was my chance to Drive B8144.JPG

This was similar to what I was tasked to drive and of course it was Red. Keep in mind this was back in 1971 so Rules and Regs weren't very strict and there were times that the Delaware River was crossed.....Outlaw Trucking???

During the Week I usually had to leave this Job to get hurry to my Supermarket Job that I had during my Senior Year of High School which started to get old and a Buddy had a solution for it.....

Which was working at the Local Prestessed Concrete Company, decent Pay and lots of OT and only about 4 miles from home. Went and applied, got hired, gave Notice to the 2 Current Employers and moved on. Due to my extensive Trucking Backround they put me in 1 of the 2 Batch Trucks that ran the Concrete from the Plant out to the Beds, how hard could this be? The Fella's that did the Forming seemed to toss all the Scrap out in the "Road" aside the Beds so U usually could count on multiple Flats a Day which U had to change and later Repair during a Slack Time between Pours.....I can still hear the Yard Boss hollaring if U got a Double Flat during a Pour 1963-b-model-mack-barn-find-rat-rod-restoration-project-1.jpg

Take the Dump Bed off and put a Homemade Rack on this Gas Powered Twin Sticker and that was the deal....Glass Windows in the Doors was a option that they didn't pick up

    mack3-1.jpg

    Least we didn't have ELD

    cast-in-place-concrete_0958.jpg

This is similar to the Buckets we hauled around on the Rack which led to a Situation one day. If this place was around today OSHA would have a Field Day but this was the early 70's. So I'm washing out the Bucket after a Pour and slip and bust my Ankle, put me outta work for 6 or 8 weeks but they held my Job and Truck when I came back....better than a Mega!! Everything is going along good but then Hours started to fall off, then Rumors....then layed off...dang!

Gotta run and Plow Snow, if there's interest we can have Part 2 tmrw
