I didn't think Schneider did balloon payments? I thought that was the one thing I was sure of.
How competitive is schneider choice?

60, 80, k or more depends on your lease term.
Now please continue to tell us how it's going to be at SNI. After all 98% of the posters on this thread have been dealing with Schneider for years and planning our escape or have already. -
My initial claim still stands.
The payment due at the end, no matter the sum amount, doesn't detract from what you learn while doing business in that fashion. It doesn't detract from still having a truck even if needing to refinance for another year and a half or two. It might not be your cup of tea, but some of us just want to learn.
Money makes the world go 'round, but that doesn't mean you ignore everything else. I might not be as high up on the leaderboard as some of you men/women are, but I'll get there some day. We each make mistakes, and we each learn from them in return. I do watch these forums every now and then, and I do talk to a lot of people. Maybe I'll make the same mistakes as these people, or maybe I'll remember something they said or did in the midst of a decision.
To say life shouldn't be hard, is not true. I'm only twenty-five and I understand this. -
You'd be a lot better off right now saving up 5 or 10g, get a truck from lone mountain or buy used and go to an all o/o company.
Honestly you won't learn that much running with SNI. Except maybe where to get cheap laptops after throwing a few out the window.Lonesome, RogerThat72, gentleroger and 1 other person Thank this. -

Think about leaseing a used truck that is in good shape and still has some warranty left on it. After a couple of years, you'll be a lot closer to ownership.
Work the Midwest if possible. In my opinion that's where the consistent, decent paying freight is. I don't go there in the winter, but I'll be back in a month or so.
Try to pay for your PM's out of your pocket if you can. Save your maintenence accout for your buyout.
Best of luck. Your math was spot on.SlimPickens and 48Packard Thank this. -
I just went from Phoenix to Denver. Denver to Portland. Portland to Idaho. Idaho to Utah. Utah to Denver. Denver to Phoenix.
Interstate 84 and Wyoming is where the party is people. Rocky Mountains? 10-4? Dig it? Skin?
If someone paid me $1.30 mile, I'd burn their house down.
When the sign says ICE, well, I thought it was some immigration issue. When the first two signs say "Wind gust to 40 MPH", then the next one "Wind gust 40+MPH", then the next two "Wind gust 70+MPH starting at 6PM".
What do you do?
The pedal on the right, you push on it, and get the far out of there, before you stay there for 2 or 3 days lol.SlimPickens Thanks this. -
Even adding 30 cpm to ypur average you are still just making company driver money. For me that doesn't justify the risj.Western flyer and driverdriver Thank this. -
SlimPickens Thanks this.
