FMCSA needs to separate Day cab company drivers that have no investment and Mega carrier long haul again no investment accidents from from Owner Operators with their entire life own a truck! Even used 100,000 plus the insurance , fuel Pay thier own maineanence no one else to blame
List them separately under accidents involved or caused you will find a whole new statistic. Just thier investment alone
Gives them the incentive to be safer better planners. By the way FMCSA own statistics published in the “ the trucker” a few months ago stated 71% accidents caused by 4 wheel vehicles!
