I had a little carry around bag. And my toothpaste never exploded. Left behind the seat out of the sun though.

Bag had all the hygiene accessories.

I noticed lately among many truck drivers that personal hygiene is highly overrated and that time is now spent playing video games between chicken choking episodes.

Keep all meltable/explodable items in a cheap cooler when you have to park the truck. I have a freezing risk where I'm at, I just keep stuff in the fridge, powered down.

Not sure how to help with the toothpaste yet, but as far as shaving, how about going old school? Shaving brush, mug, and soap...

I have done the same. Walmart has all the little travel bottles and shave stuff, plus a small travel bag that you can leave in the truck. I've used mine for just that purpose a few times and the whole thing cost me about 12 bucks I think.

See in Phoenix in the summer, when you park the truck for a few days, I'm certain it gets hot enough in there to roast a prime rib, hence toothpaste & shaving cream explosion, in fact my shaving kit is no longer brown, it's some whitish brown color from said explosion.
Won't be a problem for a few months yet, and I'll space it off, and find them exploded some place lol.

Priority is getting the truck prepped for the cats.
