Same theory still applies. They won’t target those who can and/or will shoot back.

I’ll tell you how I’d react to it. Who cares?

As long as all applicable laws are followed regarding the transfer of the rifle to the winner, all’s well that ends well as far as I’m concerned.

    Now where’s my ticket?

More proof stupid gun free zone laws don't work... Seriously why do they target these places, because no resistance easy targets.

Remember when some whack job went in and shot up the machine gun shoot at Knob Creek...
    Oh wait that never happened.

Obviously these laws aren't helping, and are actually increasing violent crime. Criminals don't care if they are breaking the gun free zone rule, thus it is only hurting ourselves as law abiding citizens and our children safety.

I would have much rather won a sensible over-under 12 gauge shotgun or an old-school lever action 30-30. You know, something practical, useful, and fun.

If that makes me "old fashioned" then old fashioned be I.

Give me a 45-70 sharps with a long glass scope for distance work. It might take a while to load. But that round will generally more or less get to where it needs to go.

Lever rifles are very good too. The one modern concession would be a short pict rail up top ahead of the chamber to take a ACOG which is perfect for me. I know it's not very good looks in that combination but a proper .500 ammunition in a caliber with a long enough barrel without being too long would be perfect for me inside of 200 yards.

Its been a while since Ive fired .500 handguns but man do they shoot well. Not so much the recoil but the really long impulse as the round is on it's way downrange. You know it's a bowling ball weighing 20 pounds when it finally clears the compenstator and it's blast.

Useful, practical and fun are VERY subjective. Unless you have a ticket for the raffle, its none of our business.
I enjoy the heck out of shooting my mini-14, all in black. And my Hy-Point 9mm carbine, also in black.
The only difference between any AR-15 and my last Remington 742 in .308 is the stock configuration, AR's are usually black plastic and most semi-auto guns have wood stocks. If you put wood on an AR, it would still be just a semi-auto rifle, like any other.

There was more than 1 shooter...if not just blanks. Suppression on MSM at it's finest. Like after the fake Sandy Hook garbage. Same girl the next day on a talk show. C'mon people wake up.
