I tried a 7CZ 600hp 2300rpm program on stock bridge injectors, cam, and turbo. FLS of 127 which is the max, FTS 0, 5232 codes. It built heat so quick i was not able to go full throttle for more than 3-4 secs without building over 1200*F on the pyro. Same thing with wastegate disconnected and that turbo huffing and puffing 42lbs..... Surprised it lasted the whole trip, exhaust housing is blue though.
Those numbers are good for approx 150-200hp over a stock 550hp program.
what injector setting for 3406e

550, do you know if the 475 and 550 ran the same turbo?
The tag on mine say max is 490 but it was set at 550 when i bought it.
I've wondered from the day I bought it if that turbo was too small. It's always been waaay too responsive and at the top end it feels like it's restricted. -
Is it a C15 or a 3406E? I dont remember what you have, but yeah they mostly come with the same turbo, the company specd truck though like Werner etc dont, had 475hp and that was max with that turbo, the turbo will support 550hp but wont do much more.
If yours is specd with a heavy trans and was rated 475hp then its most likely the bigger turbo. 490hp max means that the engine will develop a maximum of 490hp with it set to 475.
If you can get the part number off the turbo or engine serial i cant tell you what it is.... I noticed that the 3406E 550hp turbos are way better than the C15 turbos, bigger exhaust housing and dont crack nearly as much. As far as power dropping off on the top end they all do that, exhaust housing and cam, stock 550s do their best work between 1400-1700rpm. -
It's a 3406E 1LW25935 w/ 18718B. This was an O/O truck but it's not the original motor. The last owner threw a rod and bought a crate motor so I don't know for sure what's original or what's been replaced.
I'll get the number off the turbo as soon as I can...too cold out there right now for a California boy. -
SIS shows my turbo as being a 146-4328 or OR-7223
I'll look to see if that's what is on there. -
Im pretty sure thats a 550hp turbo, some reason i cant access my #### email where i got all my part numbers stashed away.
-
My list shows 0R7223 as a 550 turbo also. It says your engine was orginally delivered as a 475hp.
-
i have between 1100 and 3320 codes on my c-15 will the 5232 and 6999 work ok wit them
-
5232 and 6999 will work in any C15 ecm that has the four digit type injector codes.

If you are going to go with the "hot" fuel numbers there is NO way around having to pump more air! No telling how many trucks I have had pass me with an air leak SOOO bad in the CAC that it soulded like a ruptured maxi can. Then they wonder why the EGT's go outta sight????? Go figger???? Dis-connecting the waste gate only masked the massive leak that the CAC has!!!!!! Jus' tryin; to help
