Basically dorm rooms in the basement of a terminal from what I understand. Apparently Estes used to use them at some locations for certain road drivers. One of our drivers used to stay at one. I'll ask him what terminal that was.Last edited: Feb 19, 2018

Nah I rather go to the hotel lol

Oh no doubt! Let's just say he told me they weren't the finest accommodations. I'm just curious where it was. I think it was a scheduled long laydown run and there wasn't a choice at the time or maybe it was more convenient for whatever reason. He told me he set the place up over time so that it was somewhat tolerable.
I think you're missing out on a valuable experience, driver! -
I'll take a sleeper truck and sleep in that then. LolMACK E-6 and Bob Dobalina Thank this.

I stayed in the bunk room in Cleveland (155) when I use to run that run. That one actually wasn't bad, but would still rather go to a hotel.

Right, while someone else drives probably...

Why do I see twin screw and single axle Linehaul tractors? Are they going to all twins? What would a new driver get?
-
I honestly don't get why they all aren't twin screws. I've seen sleepers with one set of tires back there. That's very odd

Extra board is all twin screws as you could be pulling a set or a van. Most scheduled runs are set either van or a set. Van runs are usually twin screws, although they pull a set from time to time.
