I use 10 30 oil. I don't use Honda oil as you don't have too. All the thing says is to use 10 30 oil. I've used the same oil from day 1 with 2 week drains

ok, i was thinking maybe a certain additive is used to cut down on sludge.

like Toyota. i have had 2 now, they had a sludge problem (not mine, Toyota in general) . but some of that was caused by the lack of proper oil changes by the owner, they have an additive in thier oil, over say any other name brand that can be used.

If its surging a fuel problem. Etholyl eats the fuel lines insides. High octane dissipates water. Check vent and clean" everthing." Wire to float bowl is a fuel shut off solenoid-either works or don't. My eu3000 has been trouble free.

Mine is a champion but if I fill the fuel tank before I’m parked it will overflow the vent into the charcoal canister. This makes it starve for fuel after a few hours run time. I cut the vent hose now so it can’t fill up the charcoal canister ever again. Stupid EPA stuff.

Heck I spill more fuel using those stupid non vented gas cans you HAVE to buy now than I ever did in the old days. Takes forever now too to fill a lawn mower!!!
