Cabover

I want a double bunk CL9000. I want the 4 corner air ride too.

 

I drove a '88 COE Kenworth was favorite truck bar none! Handled better in snow than anything i ever drove and rode like a dream with a fully loaded 5 axle wagon.
The freightliner that followed I only took because bigger bunk

My freightliner fla rides like a cream puff. Hardly punishing. I think a lotta the drama against cabover is blown out of proportion. Or, like is often seen with Detroit 2 strokes, is propogated by people that didn't drive them to begin with.

 

Not so much, ask anyone that had one with bias ply tires and spring suspension, it was brutal at times.

 

Bias tires are bad on any rig. An air or spring ride with bad shocks, worn bushings, or torsion bars, will ruin any ride, and I'll add bad tires, or out of round tires.

 

Yah,the spring ride bias ply'd conventionals hardly rode like Cadillacs.

 

I hear ya there...

 

I would likely commit some heinous acts to own a model like this. Dream truck of all time daycab style
