Yocco's Hot Dogs

    In Breinigsville, PA, Near Allentown is a hot dog stand with truck parking. It is on route 100 south Exit 49 off of I-78. The place is called Yocco's and it's on the left going south less that a 1/4 mile.

    I have to say I stop in there twice a week for my hot dog fix. They put chili sauce, spicy mustard, and onions on their all the way dog. They also have pirogies instead of fries which is neat. you can't park there for any long amount of time but to slam down a few dogs and a soda it's a nice stop. If you've never had a cheesesteak topped with chili sauce it is worth a try here although I strickly enjoy the hot dogs myself.

    Anyone else a fan of Yocco's I'd love to here it.

    Very good dogs and a good price. I live in the Allentown area.

    Yocco's was originally established in 1922. The name Yocco's was derived from the name "Iacocca," after the family who owns the establishment. They were the parents of the famed Chrysler savior, Lee Iacocca.

    If you come in from the back street, and take the entrance infront of Conway, keep to the left.

    This makes it easier to pull back out to 100 north so you can make the turn without hitting the curb. if you swing wide enough you can re-enter the diners entrance next door and cut through, back to the back alley. If you do this you can get back to the traffic light and continue south on 100 if that was were you were going to begin with. Not sure if you can make the right off of 100-N directly into Yocco's without running over the new curb which is extremely high.

    The south part of the lot is also available but its usually full of 4-wheelers.

    Yocco's is the absolute best. The cheesesteaks aren't half bad either. And it's nice that a place understands that vinegar and French fries or pierogies totally go together.

    OK if you really wanna stop there(and yes the locals love em--and truth b told they aint bad)and the driveway between them and the starlite is full(the one mentioned early in front of conway--go to next lite by WAWA--make a left--go to the T--make a left--road curves right--take first left++++You will see a low bridge and signs in front of you right about the first left--SO TURN LEFT:biggrin_25525:go to the next left again--follow back around till you see conway yard on your right and park--road is wide enough there to get against conways fence and run in--BUT DO NOT--pass the road that runs between Con Way and Yoccos--or you WILL b blockin traffic...
    Oh and try NOT to pay attention to the LOCALS(sorry Joseph)the tradition there is to wash chili dogs and Pierogies down with CHOCLOTE MILK!!!!

    We had this discussion with you and pierogies and chocolate milk already!!!! Blah!!! Ha ha ha. I had the same expierence with pizza and chocolate milk. Lets just say that chocolate milk goes with NOTHING!!! Ha ha ha!
