    Nothing but problems with this engine model, I'm the second owner latest problem fuel pump ceramic parts $16,000 worth of damage to the engine less than a year ago $14,000 the fuel pump was on recall but since I'm the second owner Cummings will honor the recall has anybody else had this problem with this engine thank you let me know

    Doesn't matter who owned it when, there is a recall.

    Did you check the repairs to the engine before buying the truck.

    433,000 number 6 injector acting up Kenworth Odessa Texas said number 2 and 3 were bad $6,000 got to the motel room and call me said the cam was bad $14,300 all together

    Lone Mountain said they couldn't tell me what was done to the truck dyno test I and I did a what's equivalent to a Carfax

    I'm sorry to hear this happened to you. I too have that model, but a 2012. I heard about the notice, not recall for me, about the fuel pump problem. I had it replaced at $4,000. new pump, lines and adapter for these lines. I was told in the thread I started about it, that the return oil line runs right into the #4 main journal. I only say this to warn anyone else.
    Besides this, the engine has been great. A few sensors, fan clutch solenoid, valve adjustment, exhaust manifold gasket, I've had the engine for 15 months, 130,000 miles. I've gotten lucky, but I keep a very close eye on it.

    They couldn't, then why didn't you have one done?

    I would think if they withheld info, then they may be liable for the costs of the repairs if there was an intent to defraud a buyer.
