    Costco Van Buren Depot
    5860 Belleville Road, Belleville, MI

    Google Maps

Arrived 2hrs early for 10.15 am appt.

They had 3 people in rotation walking out to get your paperwork from you. My paperwork was in there hands even though I had two trucks in front of me.
Proceeded to check in gate to get paperwork back and a buzzer. Lady who checked me in was super friendly, she said she would notify receivers that I had one more stop after this and try not to keep me too long.

Instructions were to wait in the bullpen, buzzer will go off and read out a door number. Proceed to door, break seal put in back and wait for buzzer to go off and return to guard for checkout and electronic receipt.

My buzzer to proceed from bullpen to door went off at 10.11 am.

I only had 5 pallets and rest is for final stop.

I finished checking out and had receipt in hand by 10.30am ......... incredible !

They have a Wal-Mart just up the road

    Walmart Supercenter
    45555 Michigan Ave, Canton, MI

    Google Maps

Where you can park out the back to grab some groceries.
    They have signs posted for
    No truck parking out front
    No Overnight Truck parking

A towing company has posted signs, so you would be taking a big risk parking overnight.

    My instructions for Costco said
Appt after 9am you can arrive 2hrs early
Appt prior to 9am you can arrive after midnight

    alds and Hanginthere Thank this.

    Canton is a B****TCH.

I've gotten a ticket at that walmart for my pickup sitting more than four hours while I was across the street at a place with a few drivers treating them to dinner. I wanted to shop there later, parked then walked to the eatery across the street instead of fighting the traffic.

One of the things that you have to also understand is that's a store where they have a sams club and a lot of traffic from Ford rd. It has always been a mess and more so because of the strip mall they built with the Starbucks across the road.

I hate Ford Rd... You will always find me over on Warren or Joy. I use that Westland FleetPride up there at Ford and 275... Good guys up there.

Trucks parking on the road outside of this Costco is extremely dangerous and in the unfortunate event of a crash, some company is going to have their ### handed to them in court. It's not safe and if you read this, don't do it. Walmart is really liberal with their parking. The manager of the Walmart on Mich Ave used to wake drivers up herself and run them off for more than a year. She knew each night that trucks parked there. Her biggest offense was waking people up. Mild. This went on until some M)HCFU(5@r deliberately slammed his door open into her face. Totally messed up. She was passively allowing the parking and taking her time to move you on the next morning and that. Drivers help to create some of the disdain that exists for us. Where there is misunderstanding, we provide attitude, urine, garbage, dog feces, blocked thruways, verbal assaults and more. WE have to change as a whole if we want to change the way that they react to us.

No ramp/ exit onto 275 @ Warren. Makes Ford rd traffic even worse.

Theres a truck stop at Haggerty and Ecorse that you can usually find a spot at. If not, there's an industrial park a little further west down Ecorse where you can find plenty of places to park. The Meijer on Belleville road over by 94 doesnt seem to mind trucks parking there either and Meijer is way better than Walmart.
