I am happy that I was only stuck. I'm always grateful to be the person stuck in the back up and not the cause of it. Sometimes people never make it back home.

Don't mean to interrupt but this FNG has a quick question. I just found out today that my daughter has decided to get married in the middle of my road training. I start in Burleson on the 12th and should be on the road by the 2nd of April. The wedding is scheduled for the 28th of April. Just need the two days that weekend. What are the chances of being home for that weekend? Thank you in advance for your opinions. You guys are the best.
Steelersjunkie and FalconsFan21 Thank this. -
That one wasn’t me, I was on 95 way up in Maryland/Virginia territory. On my way to C’vlle with a load to drop there Fri.

Tell your recruiter ASAP, like first thing in the morning, and if you have met your Instructor at Burleson already tell him tomorrow as well. Explain to them that you just found out and the importance of it. Personally I would tell them there is only ONE weekend you really need Hometime while you are training and if you don’t get any other you are fine with that as long as you get this. Actually I DID do exactly that, I told Greg (the school training leader) and I got my weekend, I also got Hometime another time as well (that my trainer wanted), but that was the one that really mattered. Knowing in advance will give them time to make sure you are paired up with a trainer that can make that work for you. Good luck and welcome to the team!!

Sitting here in Lebanon Indiana for a 34. Exchanging stories with some drivers randomly that used to drive for Millis. It's been a good night. Really nice guys. And they go WAY back. It's fun to see where they landed, and the stories they have to tell. I love Bill more now than I ever have. And, if you are reading this Bill, they loved you
