Thanks for the hope Brett. I'd imagine it also takes a lot of discipline to perform well in that job. Probably the kind of discipline that comes with age. You know, past the partying all night then go to work with 3 hrs sleep days.

    Yea pretty much

Just take it slow and steady. Find a company that's hourly not piece work. Work at a steady pace, don't burn yourself out the 1st few stops, don't rush that's when an injury's gonna happen. Many guys 50+ I would see going out in a 48 with 45k in the box every run (do your 14, take your 10 and finish the last 10-14 hours) 2 times a wk

I am considering to relocate and work for Sysco foods out of Mounds View, MN. Any one from there? Also, are weekends usually off in thd food industry?

Some places but not common to have the whole weekend. Most places with seniority you'll be able to get at least 1 weekend day after you gain a little seniority

    I'll share a little something.

Camp David has rentals. Most of the time it's a little bit of heaven. It is subject to Wartime, crisis, immediate

@Mike2633 does food service, but not for Sysco though.

He could be of some help.

I was off topic, until I read about the possibility of weekends.

Weekends are very important in logistics in general. Most people will not have what they need at the store if freight took off weekends. It's a time to get to the distribution and stocked prior to monday. Really busy in my experience.
