why do some drivers tailgate?

Looks to me like the SUV tailgating the big rig ended up slamming into the back of the trailer.

 

Not meaning to change the topic but your post almost begs for this reply. Then said SUV driver if killed has a family that will hire a skuzz attorney and sue the driver, the carrier and the trailer maker.

 

I don't think the SUV was following too closely though. At least not in the realm of tailgating. The truck came to an unnaturally fast stop. That's not a likely occurrence.

 

Maybe but that driver was clearly not driving.

Driving like an whole to another whole just makes two aholes driving unsafe.

I actually agree in concept. However as long as these new drivers are taught the Smith System it (aint gonna happen) sorry if that offends. It is the truth.

 

Im not insulting anything, your doing fine all on your own, No here on a truck board is going to back up the stupidity of your actions.

 

Good point but the Smith System doesn't tell new drivers to keep right.
