Looking for a change thinking of tanker I live in South Jersey and have 2 years exp in reefer

living close to swedesboro and having a passport is the best deal. Venezia has lots of loads going to canada. one customer in Etobikoke, ON takes 3 to 5 loads a day monday thru friday.

 

I did oil. LPG I hear is up and down. Most of the LPG guys do asphalt in the warm months. The oil side us where the money is. 1200+ and being home weekends should be easy living in South Jersey

 

It wasn't bad. It's like ever think else good and bad points. If you stay out longer you can do better. I had a few 1600+ weeks. So you know they are on elogs and have forward / driver facing cameras. I came off the road do to my father's illness. I was told I could just call and come back. Most deliveries you are the only truck there and they pump it off, no waiting in line for a dock door.

 

Any Idea whats the hometime like? I heard those guys get paid pretty well

 

Camera is on but you have to push a button or have a event triggered it. It will flash a red and green light when it is recording. I think it only records 12 seconds. Home time with Venezia us up to you. I think they have started to run more loads toward the PNW area. Give them a call.

 

can get home on weekends or stay out for weeks and they will try to get you to stay out especially when they're short handed.
