Just paid $600 to get boot removed from truck. I parked in vacant lot in Albany ga that folks at miller beer said was ok to use. Then got booted and told if I didn't pay $600 in an hour would tow me. He said he does this in 14 other lots in Albany. I got no warning no second chance. He said there was a sign but I never saw it. There was another truck there too but no one in it. He said that guy would get towed. What a racket. Think ill post this warning in a separate thread.

 

Long story about why I was there in first place luckily I had an hour and a half left to drive. I got out of there and down the road. I'm good now..thx.

 

I know there are a number of angles a scam like this could take. Bottom line I'm too small to pick him up and shake the key out of his pocket then drop him on his head (my first choice) so alternate was to pay and go and hopefully learn yet another hard lesson.
