I work for chrysler at the moment. I was looking into the chance of having to find another job. I apreciate all the help you guys have given me. The times are hard everywhere. Hang on tight it is going to be a bumpy ride. All I have read on Roehl has been very good. I am also a veteran. I do not think I qualify for there honor program because I have been out since the persian gulf war.

You must live within 150 miles of a drop yard or termina to run hometime fleets, the reason is because you slipseat (share a truck). I ran it out of Ellenwood and then I moved to Texas and now I run out of Garland. Now remember I am honor program ehich tend to get more miles so lately I have been running 2200-2500 each time out. During the better months in summer I was hitting 3000 each time out. Good Luck

The Roehl drop yard is located in Mogadore. If you chose 7-4 7-3 keep in mind you will share two tractors with two other drivers. You have to hope there cleanliness standards are similar to yours. Roehl does keep smokers and nonsmokers seperated. You will have to load and unload your personal gear (C.B., GPS TV ect.) each cycle whitch can be a pain. The home time is very predictable as there is another driver waiting to take over your truck at the end of each outing. I am 7-4 7-3 and have two great drivers in my group, I live 100 mi. from the yard but when you figure my last job was 20 mi. from my house the 7 day commute is actually a little less for me. If you find you don't like the 7-4 7-3 you can always change to one of the other fleets. One advantage with Roehl is they will switch you around to the different fleets and also allow you to change to van, refer, flat, or curtain side (flats and curtain side do require you to take a three day securement class at Gary).
    Best of luck

Can someone list all the terminals and drop yards that 7/4 7/3 would apply to?
The Roehl website has a terminal map, but it doesnt show anything on it???

    Many Thanks!

Do you keep a log book, do you enter all scales and have you ever had a DOT level inspection? Have you weighed your loads and had to adjust trailer axles to meet specific legal highway weights. Do you completely understand the 11-14 hour rule? How many verifiable miles will your unit show you have driven(insurance purposes) Actually what you described is more like a local driving job, delivering to various units around North Carolina. Driving OTR is quite differnt that what you describe. I am not trying to be a jerk to you, I drove in the Army and it meant nothing in civilian life. I am trying to explain why you experience may not help.
