I might as well be on the dark side of the moon here. Probably have the hook take me toward San Antonio, or somewhere a little less oilfield than anywhere west of here.

 

What was in your truck, a 13 or 18spd? Hopefully you find a good shop that will get you fixed up right and back on the road soon.

I agree. If your 13 is shelled out maybe a 18 spd would be the way to go beings you got some good ponys under the hood.

I was able to corral @wore out long enough to have a great sit down breakfast this morning, just wish we'd had more time to visit, a couple of hours just wasn't enough. Great conversation, lots of laughs and a great guy, except when he scared the crap outta me, I think he was testin me, lol. He even let me sit in the captains seat of that green thing, I went through all 18 gears right there in the parking spot, lol.

Hope to meet more of you someday and if you ever get a chance don't pass up a chance to visit with ol wore, if there were more people like him in the world we'd have a lot less problems.

That's awesome! I'm glad it worked out so you guys could meet. Someday I'd like to get off this North Pole and go on a road trip to meet some of you guys.
