Forty feet eight inches is eight inches over, not a half an inch over. Maybe you meant half a foot?S M D, AModelCat, gentleroger and 7 others Thank this.
-
Sounds like you where 8" off there buddy.Camera66, AModelCat, Tolmie and 1 other person Thank this.
-
ask for the measuring device in court, then check it to make sure it is correct, but then sometimes it is easier to eat the fine instead of being put on the radar. Sounds like a revenue collecting scheme or quota for tickets, but some of the officers are green and they are not always right.
-
I’m just going to pay the fine. I’m just worried that it’s in socialist state that it’s going to be a insane ticket. They have to pay for the illigals somehow.
-
FYI , 8" is half a foot not half an inch. You kinda threw us a curveball in that 1st post
-
No, it's not just a revenue scheme. California doesn't conform to the national standard for intersection geometry. If you have you tandems back too far you're going to be rolling across someone's hood or bouncing over a curb when you try to make a turn in some of their cities.
-
confuse the authorities, do all the measurements in metric like the rest of the world.Brickwall, mhyn, Oldironfan and 1 other person Thank this.
-
On a old thread on here somebody said Cali gives you 6 inches of tolerance not sure if there is truth to this.
-
I know from experience Riverside does not.
