Which is why I stated this in the beginning.
The "not all" part that is ;-)

In addition, you are the EXCEPTION, not the rule, but then you already know that LOL.

You've only done one order this year and was 8,936 miles for $28,866.30? ;-)

Lol. No . That's an actual pay stub so in cropping it, it shows my ytd gross and mileage. The 1 order and fuel total is referring to the only load on that cycle.

    Scooter Jones Thanks this.

It would be pretty sweet to run almost 9000 miles on $190 in fuel though.

Kinda focused on the OR miles tax line. Feels a bit high. That's five I5 round trips or four I84 round trips?

Is he planning primarily to run PNW north - south loops as a focus?

I know we both do it. Is it an achievable plan for him also?

All he does is I-5 loops. CA to WA roundtrips. That number is pretty close as it's what I do. Oregon's weight mileage tax just went up to 20.5 cents per mile.

In thinking a bit more...... I'm kinda getting lazy and only do a loop a week. Usually down to the LA Basin. If I were actually hustling or running shorter (Stockton/SF Bay/ Sacramento) that would add in the extra OR miles.

Also how do you do at IFTA time? I usually pay out to IFTA because I primarily buy fuel in OR (no IFTA or sales/carbontax) then run the other states. Is the out of pocket for IFTA significant?

I keep a pretty close tab on my fuel miles in each state while rolling. Subsequently, I try to buy fuel in each state that reflects my mpg & miles in the state. I usually only owe about $90 per quarter.

They're going to get it from you one way or the other ;-)
