We get those 3 to 3.5 pretty regular in Oklahoma. Mainly central and northern parts. @1951 ford is right, they don't do much just rumble and cause folks to go crazy for a while.

I was in Chickasha a couple years ago, parked at the little Valero on the west side. Woke up to somebody rocking my truck just like they do to tell ya to unload when you been waitin a while. Looked out the window, nobody there, just the other two sand haulers parked next to me looking out their windows too. If I remember right that one was in the 5's.

    Yes sir.

Finally managed to land myself into the hands of a good mechanic here at the dealership. Did the same thing everyone else did -- cleared codes, forced a manual regen, everything looked good. We had a nice little chat about my bi-weekly truck issues. He's currently ripping into the DPF system.

We think it's pissing oil into the exhaust and filling the filter prematurely, causing me to be unable to manually regen completely. I'm not sure what the fix is for this oil issue... but if that's the actual problem I might be getting a new truck out of Tulsa. I wouldn't say the oil consumption is high but it has been abnormal lately and it's in-line with the consumption my buddey from orientation went through... he had the same issues. 1 gallon every two weeks seems to be the tell-tale sign.

I could have built a new house by now.

The first one I felt was sitting in the fire truck at the grocery store. I thought the other 2 had come out and were jumping on the back of the truck. It kept going, then I thought it was the wind coming up, but the trees weren't moving. So I got out and went to the back, nobody there. We found out about 10 minutes later what it was.
