I guess anymore when you buy a used car you need to go thru it even after it's been detailed.

Dad's sick so mama drove us over to check on him....I took a couple cold beverages with me so when we got home I was feeling around behind the seats to collect my bottles.... Found a small tin with some "oregano" in it.....huh....smells good...

I wish the Diesel engine companies could sue the Government, (EPA). It's not just big trucks having issues it's the pick-up side of it too.

I can't imagine how much time and revenue has been lost because of a bunch of morons that put a law or policy in place that they didn't have a clue about. Some people say that the exhaust systems now put out more bad stuff than they were before all of this.

My 6.7L Powerstroke has been pretty decent so far. It runs pretty much 10 hours a day, 7 days a week on average and only travels maybe 160-200km a day. Haven't had any regen or derate issues yet. Actually been pretty bulletproof (knock on wood). Once in a while when its -35 it'll throw the CEL on but it clears with a code reader every time.

My 6.7 Ford has been great as well, but a bunch of that emission stuff fell off on a rough road.

That's what happened to my 6.7L Cummins... pretty sure I knocked a bump within ten miles of the dealership and it all fell off.

I've been down 2-3 days every 3-4 weeks with this truck. I'm basically losing a weeks pay every month to issues directly related to the emission system.

Enough is enough. New truck time or I'll find a company that can keep me moving. I say that, but ####s tough at 22 in south Florida... been thinking about going with a deaske outfit. But I'm trying to hold out for another 5 months and I'm at my one year.... killing my monthly paycheck though.

What a lovely day. After losing 3 tires on my heavy ### load yesterday and losing another day, I spent this morning jacking around picking up a load in San Antonio, then getting 8 tires to take to my stranded trailer in Junction.

Currently with the tire guy changing all 8.
