Looks like I'm going to get my loan approved.

    I'm thinking VNL860. D13, Ishift, 3.08 on a 6x4 chassis.

I'm not convinced the 6x2 with adaptive loading is worth the extra cost.

    A few options I'm considering....

    Disc brakes
    Air ride front suspension
Espar bunk and engine heater (at least bunk heater)
    Factory inverter
    Bose seat (maybe)
    TPMS if available

I hope there is a weed burner option available.
I saw a review of the 760 that has a fridge under the passenger seat.

I'm going to need more wheelbase. I'm also wanting to bring along my motorcycle. The ramp is 4' wide. I'm going to ask the manufacturer if hey have a 3' version.

    V2 Long Bed Loading Ramp

    Any suggestions?

Disc brakes are the bomb in rain. Harder to watch for irregular wear though. The air ride front end is nice until you poop yourself when an airbag goes. And they will blow. Usually about 300k out of them. Suppose you could change them early.

Volvo have a nice leather heated massager seat. Bose seat to expensive
Disc brake are nice but are very expensive to replace.
TMPS is not worth it just stop at loves and have them check your tire pressure
Air ride is nice but I’m always hearing guys replacing bags and leveling valves. I know one guy went thru 3 bags in one year.

I prefer just getting a nice spected out unit leather seats d13 automatic bunk heater inverter engine heater fuel tank heaters and bumper to bumper warranty 5yrs 500k

Get the engine heater. It even helps it to start easier on cool days, but especially on cold days.

I am not sold on the disc brakes yet.
Air ride yes. I have never an Airbag go on me. And only had one go one a friends Volvo(yes it scared the crap out of him).
Espar bunk and Webasto Definite yes to both.Having the engine start up after 2 cranks when it is in the low temps makes it a definite moneysaver.
    Inverter yes
Bose seat depends on you. Your are going to be sitting in the seat for plus 10 hours per day, for days on end. Having a good comfortable seat makes it easier
    TPMS not worth it.

    Good Luck

I'm not convinced discs are better. I drove a tri-axle dump truck locally for a year. I couldn't tell the difference.

I never buy Loves fuel. I got my tires checked once and wasn't impressed. They apparently can't air up the low tires at the pump. Most of time it was impossible to get anyone to come out and check the tires. I gave upon them.

I have time. My local dealer has a 860, but it's not spec'd the way I want and I don't want a white truck

Disc brakes are lighter, and do not suffer fade in wet conditions as bad as drums. Normal operation there will be no difference to notice. Other than the weight thing.

    Rob100100 Thanks this.
