A 2011 International Prostar with a Cummins ISX CM871 yesterday threw a ABS module fault on the ICU. The TC and triangle light is on. I'm going to check the fuse, but in-case it's the ABS module that needs to be replaced does anyone know where it's located so i can remove it? Thanks!

Behind the kick panel in front of the right door and those are wicked expensive. My truck (same specs) will occasionally do the same thing. I disconnect the primary positive battery wire for about 15 minutes, reconnect and it will reboot the module and keep me happy.

Get it scanned for the actual code. The LCD display is just showing which module is reporting the fault. That does NOT mean the actual ABS ECU has gone bad. All those warning lights are normal with simple ABS faults such as wheel speed sensor or circuit problems.

I'm going to try resetting the battery first. This happen after the doc/dpf/egr were deleted. Maybe a parameter got overlooked.

I recently had mine deleted and get “42 module” sometimes. But after it’s shut off for a while it apparently resets itself. Is this the same issue you’re having?

The ABS and TC light stay lite on the icu. Truck has been driven for about 100 miles and batteries were disconnected for an hour, but it hasn't gone away. I'm going to scan it some time next week and see what comes up. I just haven't had a chance to work on it since it's a non-op.

"Module 42" is the electronic address for the "headway controller" or the front "radar" controller on trucks with Bendix Wingman adaptive cruise control. That module is reporting a fault. If it started after your alterations, then you have a bad tune and likely they inadvertently programmed it out of the engine which you aren't suppose to do.

I believe it did it before the delete also, cant remember for sure. It has always corrected itself eventually. Almost like it maybe got wet or something. But now it has been tripped for the last 2 weeks. I need to get rid of that dang front radar crap. Just havent gotten around to it yet.

Usually the connector right at the front radar has corrosion in it.

Is this thing something the original buyer requested? They weren’t standard equipment were they? I want it gone completely if possible.
